BanglaHunt Desk: The country's economy has already been severely damaged by the lockdown that has been going on since March 24. And the car industry is at the top of the list of those damaged industries. Not a single car or bike was sold across the country in the lockdown.
Due to which the hands are already on the head from the staff of the car company to the owners. Even if the lockdown is opened, it will take some time for the country's financial situation to improve. All in all, it is not clear when the car market will return to normal.
Mahindra, one of India's leading carmakers, has seen huge gains in the recession. Mahindra and Mahindra announced that they had sold a total of 4,72 tractors in April during the lockdown. Of which 56 have been exported abroad. However, statistics show that Mahindra's tractor sales have dropped significantly this time compared to April last year.
Mahindra sold 28,552 units of tractors in April 2019. In April this year, 83.3 percent of total sales were recorded. Looking at the sales figures, in April 2019, Mahindra sold 27,495 tractors in the domestic market, which is 82.8% more than the sales this year.
