One crore health workers in the country will be given the corona vaccine first, the health ministry said


Bengali Hunt Desk: When the corona vaccine arrives in the country, it will be given to one crore health workers first. The Ministry of Health said on Friday. After giving it to the health workers, the vaccine will be given to the two crore Corona fighters of the country who have worked in the front line. This was stated by the representatives of the Ministry of Health at the all-party meeting on the distribution of corona vaccine on Friday.

The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was attended by representatives of all political parties in the country. There, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan outlined the corona vaccine. There, he said, a total of one crore of the country, including doctors and nurses (public and private)
The coronavirus vaccine will be given to the health worker first. Then the vaccine will be given to the 20 million front line corona fighters of the country like police, army, municipal workers.

The meeting started at 10.30 am today. Parliamentary leaders of all parties in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were called to the meeting. Congress was represented by Ghulam Nabi Azad, Trinamool was represented by Sudip Bandyopadhyay, NCP was represented by Sharad Pawar, TRS was represented by Nageshwar Rao, Shiv Sena's Binayak Raut and many other heavyweight leaders were present at the meeting. Also present were Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan and other high-ranking officials.
