It is reported that with the increase in coronavirus cases in India, the lockdown that ends April 7 will be extended.
Many states have agreed to increase this lockdown. Orissa, on the other hand, extended the lockdown deadline to April 7. Orissa is the first state to do this. And after Orissa, Punjab has extended the lockdown deadline till May 1st. Earlier, all the party leaders discussed their lockdown and informed them of their decision. Most teams favor a lockdown.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hold a second meeting with the Chief Ministers of all the states today to tackle the coroner problem on Saturday. It is heard that he can speak for the country again tomorrow or tomorrow. Earlier, Chief Ministers of some other states including Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh had written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, requesting an extension of the lockdown.
