Some rogue people posted a picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary office on the online content buying and selling website OLX and set it at Rs 7.5 crore. OLX removed the ad after it went viral on social media on Thursday.
The sale was advertised on OLX with a picture of Prime Minister Modi's parliamentary office. The seller's name was written as Laxmikant Ojha. The advertisement said the 6,500-square-foot two-storey building was for sale with a parking lot. Along with this there was written PMO office Varanasi. However, the seller's mobile number was called but no one received the call.
In the wake of the incident, Kashi BJP president Mahendra Chandra Srivastava said the building in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary office was opened was not the property of the BJP. It was rented. The landlord did not give us any information to sell the building.
