Rajasthan Congress government to spend Rs 15-25 lakh for each madrasa, BJP in opposition

Bangla Hunt Desk: On the one hand, Congress (Indian National Congress) leader Udit Raj has criticized the Yogi government for spending on Kumbh Mela, on the other hand, a news channel has leaked a screen of the Congress. It is learned that a huge amount of money is being used for the development of madrasas under the leadership of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

Congress spent on improving Madras

According to media reports, the Rajasthan government will spend 90 per cent on the development of each madrasa and the madrasa board will spend 10 per cent. The government has allocated around Rs 15-25 lakh for each madrasa. On the one hand, Congress leaders are criticizing the Yogi government for spending on Kumbh Mela, on the other hand, they are spending on madrassa development themselves.

In the 2019 budget, the Rajasthan government had mentioned in 118 that about Tk 6 crore has been allocated for the 'Chief Minister's Madrasa Development Project'. Earlier, the Maharashtra government had allocated salaries for madrasa teachers.

Controversial remarks by a Congress leader

Congress leader Udit Raj made a controversial remark in Assam Education Minister Himanta Bishwa Sharma's comment on the closure of madrassas. He compared the Kumbh Mela to a madrasa and wrote in a tweet, “If the Assam government stops teaching Koran in madrasas with government funds, then the Uttar Pradesh government should not spend Rs 4,200 crore for the Kumbh Mela.”

The Congress leader sang the opposite

The Congress leader's tweet on Thursday sparked criticism in the political arena. “There is no religion in the state,” he said in an interview with a TV channel. Everyone should be treated equally. No one should be discriminated against. So I mentioned Kumbh Mela as an example.
