Regarding the Hathras incident, the Yogi minister said that the opposition was trying to provoke riots

Bangla Hunt Desk: Police and the administration are under suspicion about the Hathras incident. The opposition has been attacking the government one after another. Meanwhile, Ramapati Shastri, a cabinet minister in the Uttar Pradesh government led by Yogi Adityanath, made a strange statement. Shastri described the opposition as irresponsible with one hand and said that the opposition wanted to incite caste riots.

Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Ramapati Shastri said the opposition's tweets and audio tapes pointed to the old riot conspiracy. He accused Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati of insulting a Dalit girl. Shastri said Mayawati had been the chief minister before, so she should understand the sensitivity of the case.

“We have formed a special investigation team to probe the case,” Shastri said. He said action has already begun on the SIT's preliminary investigation report. Chief Minister Narco has decided to conduct polygraph test. The minister in the government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed that the truth of the incident would come to light soon. The government is committed to this.

BJP fireband leader and former Union Minister Uma Bharti said the move by the police had tarnished the image of the party and the government. Yogi Adityanath has suspended five policemen, including the SP and DM, after allegations of negligence by the administration surfaced in the case. After the suspension, Congress secretary general and UP in-charge Priyanka Gandhi asked, “What will happen if some people are suspended?”
