Rinku dropped out due to injury, instead KKR surprised Virat’s teammate


Bangla Hunt Desk: After waiting for only four days, IPL 2021 is about to start. However, before the IPL, there was a big push in the KKR camp. Rinku Singh, one of KKR’s most reliable batsmen, dropped out of the entire IPL due to a knee injury. Rinku made his IPL debut in 2017 and has been playing for KKR ever since.

Rinku Singh has played a total of eleven matches in the KKR jersey since 2017. He did not get a chance in all the matches for the balance of the team. However, Rinku used the opportunity he got in the match. Rinku could be seen playing a stormy innings towards the end of the KKR jersey. However, he played only one match in the KKR jersey last season. Rinku scored just 11 runs in that match against Chennai.

The KKR camp has picked Virat Kohli’s teammate Gurkirat Singh Mann to replace Rinku Singh. Gurkirat Singh Maner has a long experience of playing in IPL for various franchises. Gurkirat Singh Mann played for Punjab in domestic cricket. This time, KKR team management is seeing the light of bringing this batsman from Punjab.
