When this film was released 29 years ago, the distributors were also newcomers. Talking about the promotion of the film, the filmmaker told that both the lead actors i.e. Salman and Aamir Khan did not promote the film.

While talking about the remake of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, Rajkumar Santoshi said that whoever makes a remake of this film will be at a loss. There is no scope for its remake.
