Shiv Sena will contest 30-40 seats in Bihar: Sanjay Raut

“Our representatives in Bihar want to contest for 50 seats,” Raut told reporters. But we will fight for 30-40 seats.

Shiv Sena against Gupteswar Pandey

DGP Gupteswar Pandey has been targeted by the Shiv Sena for demanding a CBI probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Maharashtra's Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP coalition governments have regularly criticized Gupteswar Pandey's remarks.

Gupteswar Pandey, while leading the Bihar police force in the interest of investigating the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, demanded a CBI probe. Also last month, he joined Nitish Kumar's JDU party with VRS from the post of police chief.

Voting in Bihar

The first round of polling in Bihar will be held on October 28. Voting will take place in the second phase on November 3 and in the third phase on November 8. Besides, the election results will be released on November 10. The term of the 243-seat assembly in Bihar will end on November 29. The BJP and the JDU will face each other in these 243 assembly elections. Opposition RJD Congress, on the other hand, has 11 seats.
