Banglahant Desk: With the help of Governor Lalji Tandon at Raj Bhavan, 3 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs and 2 supporters of Jyotiraditya Scindia got ministerial posts. Shivraj Singh Chouhan extended his cabinet on Tuesday after a long 20 days. Dr Narottam Mishra, Meena Singh and Kamal Patel were sworn in from the BJP party and Tulsi Silavat and Govinda Singh were sworn in from the Rajput Scindia party. They joined the BJP and are currently serving as ministers.
The Governor first administered the oath of office and secrecy to Governor Dr. Narottam Mishra. Earlier, he was the cabinet minister in Shivraj Singh's government. He received his MA and PhD degrees from the Jivaji University in Gwalior. In 1990, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly for the first time. After that, he was elected as a MLA from Datia area on 9,26,26,28 and 20.
After Dr. Narottam Mishra, the Governor administered the oath of office to Tulsi Shilabat at number two. He was a minister in the Kamalnath government of Madhya Pradesh and was considered close to Jyotiraditya Scindia. He was one of the 22 rebel MLAs in the Kamal Nath government. He was the MLA of Sevar Assembly seat in Indore.
Then came Kamal Patel as the minister of Madhya Pradesh at number three. He was the leader of Madhya Pradesh BJP. From his student life he was active in politics. He was elected MLA from Harda Assembly constituency five times in 5, 9, 23, 23 and 26.
Govind Singh Rajput took oath of office and secrecy in the fourth position. He has been a three-time MLA from Sagar Suragi. He was one of the 22 rebel MLAs of the Kamalnath government. He was a legislator from the government seat in Sagar district. This seat has been vacant since his resignation.
Mina Singh Mandway was sworn in as minister at the end of it all. Mina Singh started her political career in 2006 after the death of her husband. He studied at Banaras Hindu University. He is the MLA of Manpur constituency in Umaria district.
