Gill has played a brilliant inning against Mumbai Indians in the IPL-2023 match being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium and scored a half-century. The kind of batting that Gill did in this match was worth watching.
Last season’s winner Gujarat captain Hardik Pandya could not win the toss in this match. Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first. The bowlers of Mumbai had to face the havoc of Gill after this.

Gill scored his third half-century
Gill played an important role in Gujarat winning the IPL trophy last season while batting brilliantly. This season too he is seen in his old colors. Gill scored a half-century against Mumbai. He scored quickly from the start and hit some brilliant shots. Gill completed his 50 runs by taking one run on the last ball of the 10th over. For this he played 30 balls.
This is Gill’s third half-century of this season. Earlier he scored half-centuries against Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings. He played an inning of 63 runs against Chennai. He scored 67 runs against Punjab.

Gill, however, could not last long after scoring a half-century and was dismissed. When Kumar Kartikeya came to bowl on the first ball of the 12th over, Gill wanted to play a big shot on him but he played the ball straight into the hands of Suryakumar Yadav at long on. Gill scored 56 runs in 34 balls with the help of seven fours and a six.
Gujarat made a huge score
Gujarat has scored a big score in this match. Batting first, Gujarat scored 207 runs losing six wickets in 20 overs. For him, apart from Gill, David Miller scored 46 runs in 22 balls. In his innings, he hit two fours and four sixes. Apart from him, Abhinam Manohar scored 42 runs in 21 balls. He hit three fours and three sixes in his innings.
