Actor Sanjay Dutt has started chemotherapy for cancer in Mumbai. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. The actor had applied to the central government for special permission to travel to the US or Singapore for medical treatment.
On August 11, it was reported that Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with lung cancer. At first it was called stage 3 but later the doctors informed that the actor's cancer has gone to stage 4. He then sought permission from the public center to seek medical treatment in the United States or Singapore. It is not known whether he has been given permission by the Center but Sanjay Dutt's chemotherapy has started at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai without any delay.
Incidentally, on August 8, Sanjay Dutt was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai due to respiratory problems. He was released from the hospital a few days later and returned home. After that it was known that the actor had contracted lung cancer.
Sanjay Dutt took a break from acting for a while by tweeting on his Twitter handle that day. He writes, ‘For medical reasons I have been taking a break from acting for some time. My family and friends are with me. Don't worry about the requests of well-wishers. I will be back soon with all your love and best wishes. '
After that, renowned film journalist Komal Nahta tweeted that Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with lung cancer. The actor is going to go to America or Singapore for treatment.
Sanjay Dutt was admitted to Lilavati Hospital on August 8 due to sudden respiratory problems. However, his corona test report was negative. He returned home from the hospital on Monday. It was later learned that the actor had contracted cancer.
