During the demonstration, some demonstrators tried to enter the temple despite having lots of police and barricades. However, the police stopped them. Gephatara protesters by the police. Strict precautions are being taken by the police to avoid any untoward incident.
In the wake of the incident, BJP leader Praveen Darekar said liquor shops have been opened in the state and even home-delivered liquor is being delivered. But the government is not thinking about those who go to the temple for peace of mind. The Uddhav government is not thinking of small shops. What will happen to those who make a living by opening a shop in front of the temple? This government is full of arrogance.
Another BJP leader said, “Our demand is that we be allowed to enter the Siddhivinayak temple.” If we are not allowed to enter, we will make our own way to the temple. It is a movement of the whole of Maharashtra. We want all the temples in Maharashtra to be opened.
