Microsoft is preparing to launch a new Area Pro 8 design future week, and a leak seems to have uncovered just what to anticipate. Twitter account Shadow_Leak has published a photograph of the Floor Pro 8 from what seems to be a retail listing. The account claims the Area Professional 8 will ship with a new 13-inch 120Hz display with narrow bezels and two Thunderbolt ports.
The Verge claimed previous 7 days that the Surface area Professional 8 would ship devoid of USB-A ports, in favor of USB-C and Thunderbolt. We also described that Microsoft has been screening 120Hz displays for the Surface Professional lineup. The leaked picture and specs line up with what we have heard from sources common with Microsoft’s ideas.
The leak also reveals Microsoft is relocating to removable SSDs on the Area Professional 8. That matches the Surface area Laptop 4 and Surface area Professional X, and will make it less complicated for corporations to swap out drives.
Microsoft is holding a Surface area components celebration on September 22nd, exactly where we’re expecting the business to announce the Floor Professional 8, a Surface Go 3, a newly created Surface area E-book 4, an updated Area Pro X, and the successor to the Android-powered Area Duo. Remain tuned to The Verge for all the Surface area information on September 22nd, from 11AM ET / 8AM PT onwards.
