He added that the proxy servers of all these fake accounts are all foreign. According to the Cyber Branch, more posts have been posted against Mumbai Police from Italy, Indonesia, Japan, Slovenia and Thailand.
According to reports, the investigation has revealed that multiple hashtags were created on social media to defame the Mumbai police and the Rajya Sabha government. The hashtags #JusticeForSSR, #SushantConspiracyExposed, #justiceforsushant, #sushantsinghrajput and #SSR are used.
Mumbai police said the accused could face up to five years in jail and five to six years in prison if convicted under the section of the IT Act.
