For the past few days, various heated letters and tweets have been exchanged. This time another Trinamool MP Mahua Maitra retaliated against the letter sent by the governor.
Recently, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wrote a five-page letter in response to the Governor's tweet. But this time Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar sent a 14-page letter to the state to reply to the 5-page letter written by the Chief Minister. The chief minister alleged that the governor was insulting the cabinet. And reminded him, that the governor was nominated and the chief minister elected. In response to the Chief Minister's remarks, the Governor said, “The Chief Minister is now trying to turn the attention of the people of the state as he cannot deal with Corona.” The governor also alleged that he was acting unconstitutionally, citing 36 points.
On the basis of the governor's statement, another Trinamool MP Mahua Maitra tweeted and directly attacked the governor. He said the state did not have time to flatter Raj Bhavan in this time of crisis. He appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to take the governor to Delhi now in this time of crisis, if the state would benefit.
