Terrorism overwhelms nationalism, BJP wins bumper victory in Kashmir despite repeal of Section 370

Bengali Hunt Desk: There was a time when the name of BJP was not even mentioned in public in Kashmir. And today one lotus flower after another blossomed in that Kashmir. The BJP won the DDC elections for the first time in the Valley by defeating the veterans of regional parties like the National Conference and the PDP. BJP's Ejaz Hussain won the Khanmoh-2 seat in Srinagar and Ejaz Ahmed Khan won the Tulail seat in Bandipora district.

Ejaz Hussain credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policy and the hard work of party workers for the victory. He said the BJP was on one side in the DDC elections, and all other parties were on the other. He said the people of Kashmir have shown confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policy. The results of this election make it clear that a large number of people in Kashmir are now becoming nationalists.

Hussein said the BJP had fought a good fight against the Gupkar alliance in the Valley. The reason why the Gupkar alliance all came together was that they were already worried about the outcome of the election. Despite their strong opposition, the BJP has won in the Valley. Now they should think. The people of Kashmir now want development, and this vote was for development.

Let me inform you, the counting of DDC elections in Srinagar is over. Speaking of others, the non-partisan candidate has won half the seats. According to the Valley's election statistics, the Gupkar alliance is leading in 113 seats. The BJP is in second place, they are ahead in 6 seats. The Congress is leading in 23 seats and the others in 50 seats.
