According to the Meteorological Department, the black cloud of disaster has not yet been cut. Due to deep depression in North-Central Bay of Bengal, heavy rains are expected in Karnataka, Bidar, Koppal, Raichur, Chikkaballapura and Chikkamagaluru.

This natural calamity has caused extensive damage in Telangana. Houses have collapsed, bigha bigha farmland has gone under water. Besides, about 80 people have lost their lives in this natural disaster. All in all, public life in Telangana is in deep crisis. In this situation, the Chief Minister of Bengal provided financial assistance of Tk 2 crore to further strengthen the friendship with Telangana.
