The army achieved great success in Jammu and Kashmir, destroying two Lashkar bases


Bangla Hunt Desk: Two joint Indian Army units uncovered two Lashkar-e-Taiba hideouts in Barud and Barso in south Kashmir's Pulwama district. A large quantity of weapons as well as many objectionable items were recovered from those hideouts of Lashkar. The operation was carried out by a joint team of 50 State Rifles of the Army, 130 Battalion of the CRPF and the Avantipora Police. I was informed that the police had received information that Lashkar-e-Taiba jihadists had set up camp in Barud and Barso areas of Avantipora. After receiving that information, the Army launched a search operation in the area on Wednesday night with 50 State Rifles, 130 Battalions of the CRPF and Avantipora police.

In a search operation on Thursday, a joint army team found two hideouts of Lashkar. The allied forces demolished that dormitory. From there AK-47 rifle 1917 bullets, two grenades, a UGBL thrower, four UGBLs, toxic substances like ammonium nitrate as well as some objectionable materials were found. Along with this, 5,400 rupees in cash, utensils, gas stove, gas cylinder and other food items were recovered.
