Bangla Hunt Desk: In the Naxal-affected Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, Indian Army personnel killed four Naxals at the N. counter. Bastar area Director General of Police Sundarraj P said on Wednesday that the army had killed four Naxalites in the forest of Phulpamar village in Jagargunda police station area of Sukma district. He said a joint team of DRG and CRPF's Cobra Battalion conducted an operation in the area after receiving reports of Naxal activities in the area.

He said when the attached team was in the forest of Fulmpar village, the Naxals started firing on them. Then the army also returned fire.
The police official said the Naxals fled after shelling from both directions for a while. When the army searched the scene, they found the bodies of four Naxalites, a 303 rifle, a home-made gun and explosives. He said anti-Naxal operations were underway in the area.
