Gazipur CRPF jawan Ashwini Kumar Yadav, who was martyred in a terrorist attack in Kupwara town of Jammu and Kashmir, was laid to rest with full military honors at his hometown Chakdaud on Wednesday. Shaheed Ashwani's four-year-old son Aditya buried him. Standing at a distance, his six-year-old daughter Ayesha greeted him. Seeing these scenes, people's eyes filled with tears.

Martyred CRPF jawan Ashwini Kumar was the eldest of three brothers, he has two younger brothers Anjani and Aman. Martyr Jawan Ashwani Yadav got married in 2012. They have a one-year-old daughter Pari and a three-year-old son Aditya.

The UP government has announced a grant of Rs 50 lakh to the martyr's family and a job for the family member. Of this, Rs 25 lakh was contributed. After paying homage to the martyr, the DM and SP handed over a check of Rs 20 lakh to his wife and Rs 5 lakh to his mother. The body of the jawan was brought from a chartered aircraft on Wednesday morning. Then they were taken to the village by road.
