BanglaHunt Desk: The central delegation is not happy with the state's explanation as the reason for forming an expert committee to declare death in Corona. So again they gave a letter to the Chief Secretary. The same question came back? Under whose direction this committee has been formed by the State Government. At the same time, the question has been raised on behalf of the committee, has the state government formed such a committee to declare a person dead before? Has the committee been formed following the instructions of ICMR?
The central delegation had earlier said that there was uncertainty over the committee set up by the state government to announce whether any patient had died of coronary heart disease. Apurba Chandra, the head of the central delegation, wrote to the state chief secretary on Wednesday seeking information about the committee. He wants to know under whose direction the expert committee has been formed. In response, Vivek Kumar, chief secretary of the health department, wrote, “If a corona patient dies in a road accident, will he be considered dead in corona?” But the central party is not happy with the state's response. They sent a letter to the chief secretary again asking a bunch of questions about the expert committee.
The letter was sent on the instructions of the government. Members of the central team have sent for the medical history of each person who died of coronary heart disease. With the question, how long does it take for the committee to declare a corona dead? At the same time, the question has been raised on behalf of the committee, has the state government formed such a committee to declare a person dead before? Has the committee been formed following the instructions of ICMR?
The controversy has started since the state government formed a committee of specialist doctors to declare Korona dead. Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections. Because there is no such committee anywhere in the world. There is no mention of such a committee in the guidelines of WHO or ICMR.
