Bangla Hunt Desk: A soldier's family fled their village in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat district after five members of the family were killed. But after seven years of law and order in the Yogi Adityanath government, the soldier's family returned to their village. He came to the village and got his house and property back with the help of the police.
Pravesh Rathi was a jawan of the Indian Army and he was stationed in Jaipur. Speaking to media, he said that since Yogi Adityanath took charge of Uttar Pradesh, law and order has been maintained in the state. The way he is taking action against notorious criminals and the way they are being punished is commendable.
Fear of criminals has decreased among people in every district of the state. And seeing this, I feel that this time the situation has changed, this time we can go back. Returning to his ancestral home after seven years, Jawan's family has been reassured by the Baghpat district commissioner, IG Meerut and other senior bureaucrats about the state's law and order situation.
Five members of the Rathi family were shot dead due to an old feud. Among the dead were Jawan's mother, father and brothers. There were also several attacks on the jawan's house. Uttar Pradesh police have recently arrested the accused in the murder.
Fearing the murder, the jawan fled the village along with his entire family. The incident took place in 2013, when Akhilesh Yadav was in charge of Uttar Pradesh. The miscreants carried out such killings even after the police provided protection to the jawan's family. After the Yogi government came to power, strict measures were taken against the criminals in the state. And this is why the family of the jawan decided to return to the ancestral home again.
