The farmers rejected the government's proposal! The movement will continue

Bangla Hunt Desk: The farmers' protest against the new Farm Laws 2020 is not going away. The government has sent a written proposal to the farmers, but the farmers have rejected the government's proposal. The peasant leaders made it clear that the movement would still continue. Farmers' leaders have also warned of a nationwide demonstration on December 14. The farmers themselves demanded that the new agricultural law be repealed. On the other hand, after the farmers' demand was rejected, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar went to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

I would like to inform that a written proposal was sent to the agitating farmers by the government today. The highest minimum support price (MSP) is preferred there. The proposal from the government also calls for making contract farming the mainstay of farmers' facilities in the agricultural market system. The government also invited the farmers for the sixth round of talks.

The government has agreed to the main demands.

  • The government has agreed to amend the law on contract farming and go to court.
  • Private players will now be able to work with PAN cards, but farmers have talked about the registration system. The government also agrees to this condition.
  • The government has also agreed to impose some taxes on private players.
  • Government ready to continue MSP.
