Because of which the shows are being cancelled.

Actually this film was being said to be based on the sudden disappearance of women in Kerala. The director claimed that 32 thousand girls were kidnapped and brainwashed. After this he was included in ISIS. But when a particular group called it a propaganda film and said that the film is not based on facts, the director of the film had to backtrack and made changes in the film. Now it is being heard that protests are going on in the South and due to this the film is not being released in many places.

Talking about the film, the film, directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amritpal Shah, was released in theaters on May 5, 2023. It is getting good word of mouth and it is believed that this film will earn more than 6 crores on the first day and will beat Vivek Agnihotri’s film The Kashmir Files in terms of earnings. But the film was not allowed to be released in two theaters in Kochi.

Due to protests in Kochi, the film was released in only one of the four theatres. The release of this film was banned in Lulu Mall, Oberon Mall and Cinepolis of Center Square Mall in the big city of Kochi, Kerala. The film was screened only at a theater named Shenoys and started after 10 am. Earlier it was claimed that the film was to be released in 50 theaters in Kerala but in reality the film could be released only on 17 screens.
