The Kerala Story Screening: Adah Sharma a film by The Kerala Story There has been a constant ruckus about. Meanwhile in Delhi tomorrow JNU A special screening of the film was held in the campus. Jahan Adah Sharma, director of the film Sudipto Sen And producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah was also present. Even before the release of the film, there is fierce politics on this issue. During the screening of the film, Sudipto Sen said, ‘People should watch it, if people like this film then it will be the biggest award for me.’ On the other hand, on the petitions filed in the Supreme Court against ‘The Kerala Story’, he said, ‘We have full faith in the court. The court has already said in a report that film is a part of art. This is not a hate speech. So, we think we will get justice. In the end only truth wins.
Producer Vipul Amritlal Shah and actress Adah Sharma, who attended the screening of the film, also interacted with the students of JNU. He said- ‘It is your responsibility that how to show this film to the people and what kind of discussion should happen’ When Vupil heard the story of this film, he cried. It took a full 7 years to make the film.
Sudipta Sen told that this is the story of 3 girls in the film, out of which one girl is still in jail in Afghanistan. A girl has committed suicide and her parents are still waiting for justice for her. A girl was repeatedly raped and now she is calm because the criminals are following her.
This film by Sudipto Sen is releasing in theaters on May 5, 2023. Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani and Sonia Balani are playing lead roles in this film. As soon as the trailer of the film comes, it is being criticized fiercely. The claim made in the film that 32,000 girls went missing from Kerala and were later converted to join the terrorist group ISIS is being misquoted.
