Let me tell you, the money given by the Modi government at the center has distributed Tk 8,220 crore among the 1.5 lakh farmers in the country.

According to a government statement, last year's arrears amounted to Tk 1.5 billion in the amount of money allotted as per the Prime Minister's Krishak Yojana in lockdown. According to this plan, Tk. 1.5 crore has been disbursed in the first installment of the current financial year for the current financial year among the 8.5 million farmers.

According to the Prime Minister Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana, farmers will be given a cash assistance of Tk 2,000 each in three installments in a financial year, and this money is sent directly to the farmers' bank account. Only some high income farmers are excluded from the scheme.

The government, in keeping with the lockdown issued for three weeks from March 25, promised to release the first installment of Tk 2,000 to the 1.3 million farmers under the Prime Minister's Krishak Yojana for immediate assistance. So far, Tk 1,225 crore has been sent to farmers' bank accounts.
