When Rahul Ghodak's father, a resident of Mumbai's Chembur area, died, he was in dire financial straits. When Rahul was in 10th class, his father would leave this world. After the death of his father, Rahul had to take charge of the house. Rahul's father worked as a laborer. So he could not leave any kind of wealth in Rahul's house. But Rahul did not lose courage and helped his mother to run the house by doing small chores. At the same time, his mother used to go from house to house washing dishes and clothes and running the household.
Rahul did not compromise with his studies because of so much trouble at home. However, he failed the high school exam. After that, Rahul did an electronic course at ITI in Gobandi near Chembur. Rahul was talented, so he passed the ITI diploma with good marks, then he got a job in a private company called L&T, which made it easier for him to pursue his engineering studies.
