However, Hero’s bike falls short when compared to premium features like USD fork and dual ABS offered by competitors like Bajaj Pulsar NS160.

India’s largest two-wheeler company is about to launch an updated model of the Xtreme 160R. The upcoming bike will knock with USD fork. Apart from this, changes in style and new color options can also be given. In the latest teaser, we can see that the Xtreme 160R has been shown in black colour. The bike also gets black alloys and golden USD forks.

Dual-channel ABS expected

Apart from this, the company has also shown exhaust and reviving sound in the teaser. Hero’s new bike has to compete with the bikes of companies like Bajaj, TVS and Suzuki, then some more updates will also have to be brought. Competition cannot be done just by giving golden USD fork. The safety kit on the updated Extreme 160R can also be upgraded with dual-channel ABS.

2023 Hero Xtreme 160R: Engine

The engine of the updated model of Hero Extreme will not be changed. It will retain the power of the existing 163 cc air-cooled engine. The upcoming bike will come with a 5 speed constant mesh gearbox. In comparison, the Pulsar NS160 comes with a 160.3 cc oil cooled 4 valve engine.
