These five cricketers have received a lot more money from their qualifications than the cricket fans

Bangla Hunt Desk: The auction of IPL 2021 was held on 18th February in Chennai. The auction saw a virtual battle between the eight franchises. A total of Rs 145.30 crore has been spent on 57 players in the auction. Cricket fans feel that a number of cricketers have been auctioned off for more than their qualifications.

Let’s take a look at the list of all those cricketers:
Chris Morris: Rajasthan Royals have picked Chris Morris for Rs 16.25 crore in the IPL auction. Cricket fans can’t find any reason to take Chris Morris to the team with such a huge amount of money.

Kyle Jamieson: Royal Challengers Bangalore have signed Kyle Jamieson at a cost of Rs 15 crore. RCB fans have questioned the extra cost for a cricketer like Jamieson.

Despite keeping its base price at Rs 20 lakh, Chennai has taken Krishnappa Gautam to the team with Rs 9 crore 25 lakh in the auction. Krishappa Gautam’s performance in the last few years does not match with this huge amount of money. In the last three IPL seasons, Krishappa Gautam has taken just 13 wickets and scored 186 runs in 24 matches.

Riley Meredith: The auction of Riley Meredith, who has no experience in international and IPL, started at Rs 40 lakh. But Punjab has taken him to the team with one crore rupees by bidding one after another. It costs much more than expected.
