This plan of Modi government set a record in lockdown! Hundreds of crores of rupees were saved by the Indians


Bengali Hunt Desk: In the lockdown, Modi Sarkar set a record through Pradhanmantri Jan Aushadhi Yojna. Through this scheme, medicines worth Tk 52 crore have been sold in April this year. Not only that, the people of the country have saved 300 crore rupees through this scheme. Information about the scheme was released from the official Twitter handle of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

According to the BJP, medicines worth Tk 16 crore were sold in April 2019 under the Modi government's PM Jan Aushadhi Yojana. In March 2020, the sales of medicines increased to Rs 42 crore. And in April 2020, a record 52 crore rupees worth of drugs were sold.

The BJP claims that medicines are available at a price of 50 to 90 per cent less than public stores in a total of 6,300 drug centers opened in 728 districts of the country.

Let me inform you that the objective of the Prime Minister's Public Medicine Scheme is to provide medicines to the people at affordable prices. PMJAY is one of the ambitious schemes of the Modi government. The Prime Minister's Public Medicine Scheme also gives an opportunity to the unemployed to start earning. According to the scheme, the unemployed are given up to Rs 2.5 lakh to open a public medicine center.
