The stock market has seen tremendous growth on the last trading day of April. The Nifty closed above the 18,000 mark for the fifth consecutive day. On the other hand, the Sensex rose 463 points to close above 61,100 points. In these five trading days, the Sensex has seen an increase of 1,516 points. At the same time, an increase of 441 points has been seen in Nifty. Wipro, Nestle, ITC, and L&T have been among the top gainers in the stock market today. A gain of more than 2 percent was seen in all the stocks. On the other hand, Axis Bank, HCL Tech, Titan, Bajaj Finserv and Asian Paints ended with losses.

Tremendous recovery in Sensex

1. In the Sensex, on the last trading day of April, the Sensex closed at 61,112.44 points with a gain of 463.06 points, or 0.76 percent.
2. After February 17, the Sensex closed at 61,000 points.
3. In the last one week, an increase of 1516 points has been seen in the Sensex.
4. This means that the Sensex has gained 2.54 per cent in five trading sessions.
5. If we talk about the whole month, then there has been a jump of 2,120.92 points in the Sensex.
6. This means that the Sensex has recovered up to 3.59 per cent in the month of April.

Nifty also crosses 18,000 mark

1. The National Stock Exchange’s major index Nifty has seen a gain of 149.95 points.
2. Nifty closed at 18,065 points on the last trading day of April.
3. Nifty has crossed 18 thousand mark for the first time after February 16 and has closed at the same level.
4. In the current week, Nifty has seen a gain of 441 points.
5. This means that the Nifty has seen a gain of 2.5 per cent.
6. Talking about the month of April, a jump of 705.25 points has been seen in Nifty.
7. This means that the Nifty has seen a gain of more than 4 percent in the month of April.

An increase of Rs 13.58 lakh crore in April

1. Today the market cap of Sensex reached Rs 2,71,78,225.51 crore.
2. A day ago, the mcap of Sensex was at Rs 2,69,05,028.97 crore.
3. This means that the market cap of Sensex increased by Rs 2,73,196.54 crore.
4. On the other hand, in the last five trading sessions, an increase of Rs 6,81,194.46 crore has been seen in the market cap of Sensex.
5. This means that the market has increased by 2.57 percent during this period.
6. In the month of April, investors have earned Rs 13,58,329.51 while earning handsomely.
