Demands for boycotts were raised in different parts of the country. There was a storm on social media. The controversy seems to be escalating day by day over why the Chinese company Vivo will be the main sponsor of the IPL. Eventually, the Chinese company Vivo was forced to bow its head in the face of pressure. Vivo removed itself from the IPL title sponsor. In other words, Vivo will not be the title sponsor of IPL this year.

Last June, the Chinese army attacked the cowardly unarmed Indian army on the Ladakh border. As a result of which 20 Indian soldiers were martyred. Since then, there has been a strong demand for a boycott of Chinese goods across the country.

But after the meeting of the IPL Governing Council on Sunday, it was informed that Vivoi will be the title sponsor of the IPL. Then the situation became more complicated. Many on social media started demanding boycott of IPL. A few days ago, the central government banned 59 Chinese apps, including TickTock, but protests erupted over how the Chinese company is a title sponsor in the IPL. Eventually, the Chinese company Vivo withdrew from the IPL on its own.
