The company gives an incentive of 30-50 percent to employees who buy electric two-wheelers and cars. According to the company, by giving such concession, the company is furthering the positive effect of EV.

L&T: Steps towards becoming carbon neutral

Larsen & Toubro has set a target of becoming carbon neutral by 2040. For this, the company has made a target-26 strategy. Under this, the company will use electric mobility extensively in its campus, office and project sites.

Electric vehicles will also be used for material transport and earth-moving equipment. EV charging facility is also available at L&T’s Powai, Chennai and Vadodara campuses.
