Bengali Hunt Desk: After getting permission from the governments of Maharashtra and Karnataka, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood arranged transport for the workers stranded due to the lockdown. Sanu organized 10 buses. On Monday, the bus left Maharashtra for Karnataka at Thane. The actor also went to the bus terminal to say goodbye to the workers.

In this regard, Sonu Sood said, ‘In the current problem, when we are all fighting this global epidemic, everyone wants to be with his own family. I have obtained permission from the governments of Maharashtra and Karnataka to repatriate these migrant workers. ”

Sonu said, “I am a small child and the sight of these elderly parents walking down the street and returning home is very painful. “I have done as much as I can and I will continue to do so in the future,” Sonu said.

Sonu recently donated 1,500 PPE kits to doctors in Punjab. He has opened his hotel Frontline in Juhu, Mumbai, for workers.
