Variation 4. of VLC, the popular cross-system media playing application, is prepared for launch in the coming months, Protocol reports. The massive new element is a redesigned interface, which VideoLAN foundation president Jean-Baptiste Kempf hopes will look “a bit extra fashionable.” Protocol also stories that the team is doing work on integrating more on line information into the software, as properly as a new way of managing VLC in a webpage. VLC’s developer VideoLAN gave the environment a peek at what this new interface could appear like way back in February 2019 at the FOSDEM convention.
