BanglaHunt Desk: Asaduddin Owaisi countered Mohan Bhagwat's remarks on the Citizenship Amendment Act. Speaking on the occasion of Navratri, the head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) said that some people were misleading Muslims in their own interest with the amended citizenship law. Asaduddin Owaisi, head of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), countered this statement.
Mohan Bhagwat's statement
“The CAA is not against any particular religion,” said Mohan Bhagwat, head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, who attended a meeting of the Dussehra festival on Sunday. The Muslim brothers and sisters are just misunderstanding about CAA. Someone or someone is misleading them on purpose. Some people are misleading Muslim brothers and sisters to serve their own interests.
CAA doesn't oppose any specific religious community. Yet few protested against this law & misguided our Muslim brothers by their false propaganda that this law was brought for restricting the Muslim population. So, due to this, there were further protests: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat https://t.co/C01b748j9C pic.twitter.com/pctEtIy1ut

Weiss attacked Bhagwat
Attacking him on the basis of remarks made by state volunteer Sir Sanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, Asaduddin Owaisi said, “We are not children at all, anyone will misunderstand us and we will understand. If the revised Citizenship Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) are made together, the BJP is silent on why.
We & # 039; re not kids to be & # 039; misguided & # 039 ;. BJP didn & # 039; t mince words about what CAA + NRC were meant to do. If it & # 039; s not about Muslims, just remove all references to religion from the law? Know this: we & # 039; ll protest again & again till there are laws that require us to prove our Indianness https://t.co/uccZ8JTjsi

If the law is not changed, we will continue to oppose
Asaduddin Owaisi added, “If there is nothing Muslim in this law, then all the conditions related to religion should be removed from this law.” Unless we need to prove our Indianness by this law, we will oppose this law. ‘
