It has been more than 33 years since the film was released. Recently, Bhagyashree has told an anecdote during the shooting when she and Salman had decided on the sets that they would not proceed with the shooting of the film. In return, both of them had placed a demand in front of Sooraj Barjatya.

Why did Salman and Bhagyashree decide this

Bhagyashree has recently told Instant Bollywood about this story. Sooraj Barjatya got married to Vineeta during the shooting of Maine Pyar Kiya. Bhagyashree told that all of them were in Ooty regarding the shooting. On the other hand, as happens on the set of every film of Soorja Barjatya that there is a full table of food in the lunch break, there was a similar atmosphere on the set of this film as well.

Bhagyashree further told that Sooraj Barjatya’s wife was waiting for Suraj to come and feed her with food in a plate on the dinner table. Although Sooraj Barjatya was not coming, he was busy with the shots. After which Bhagyashree and Salman Khan decided that both of them will not proceed with the shooting of the film until Sooraj Barjatya comes and eats food from his wife’s hand.

However, in this film Salman played the character named Prem and Bhagyashree played Suman. The pairing of both, the film, as well as the songs of this film were also very popular.
