Wine at home! Nabanna sought applications from companies interested in home delivery of liquor

BanglaHunt Desk: The most talked about discount in the third phase of lockdown in India is to allow liquor shops to open. In addition, additional prices have been imposed on alcohol. And before opening the liquor store, the liquor lovers lined up in front of the store in the morning. Although social distance is observed in many places, in most places, Deda continues to trade alcohol by pointing the finger at the government's guidelines.

This time Nabanna wants home delivery of liquor to avoid that situation. A notice released on Monday by WBSBCL called for tenders from interested online ordering firms, including WBSBCL start-ups, who have experience in home delivery of purchased alcoholic beverages from licensed stores, to make the liquor home delivery service effective. The last day to submit the application is June 15.

Incidentally, the Supreme Court in a directive advised the state governments to introduce home delivery system of liquor on the basis of online order to prevent the spread of infection in Corona situation.

Earlier, Jomato CEO Mohit Gupta told the media in an interview, “Alcohol consumption can be encouraged if alcohol is delivered at home with the help of technology.” Jomato said it was also interested in providing this facility only where corona virus infection is low.
