Yogi Adityanath ordered to bring back 1 million workers stranded in Vinh State


Bengali Hunt Desk: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered the repatriation of migrant workers stranded in other states due to the lockdown. In a meeting with Team-11 on Friday, the chief minister directed to make a plan to return the stranded workers to their families in other states.

He directed the officials to talk to the chief ministers of different states and submit the complete roadmap to him within three to four days. Let me tell you, five lakh workers have so far moved to Uttar Pradesh out of the lockdown. According to an estimate, 1 million workers are still stranded in different states of the country.

The Chief Minister has asked the nodal officers in all the states for a roadmap for repatriation of all workers. First, let them return to those who have completed the 14-day quarantine period in different states. He said that they should be brought back and given a health check and sent back to quarantine.

Then let those workers be brought, whose work is stuck in their place due to the power outage. Even after returning to Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister has issued instructions to send those workers for medical examination and quarantine. He has even issued instructions to give them jobs after bringing them back.

Uttar Pradesh government minister and spokesperson Siddharthanath Singh said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was worried about his people. And for this reason he has brought the students back to the state from the quota of Rajasthan and directed to bring the migrant workers back to the state. All workers will return home through the protocol.

Not only that, he instructed them to be given work after being brought back home. For this, the Chief Minister has directed the officials to arrange jobs for 1.5 million people.
