Yogi forms new force, will have special permission to arrest and search without warrant

Bangla Hunt Desk: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has formed a new security force (Special Security Force – SSF). The Yogi government has issued an ordinance on this. SSF will be able to conduct arrests and searches in Uttar Pradesh without a warrant. The court will not take any case against SSF officials and employees without the direction of the government.

The security of important government buildings, offices, industrial establishments throughout the state will be in the hands of SSF. SSF can also be hired privately. The SSF will have a chief ADG level official. The headquarters will be in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh.

On June 28, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath approved the formation of the Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force. This time the Home Department has issued an ordinance after the Cabinet approved the formation of the SSF through circulation. At first five battalions of SSF will be formed.

Uttar Pradesh SSF has been given special power. According to the powers vested in the SSF, if a member of the SSF thinks that the offender may flee or falsify the evidence while issuing the search warrant, the SSF may immediately arrest the offender.

Not only that, he will be able to search the property and house of the criminal at that time. The SSF jawan will be able to do so only when he is fully convinced that action can be taken against this criminal.
