Do this first thing in case of car fire
- If your car is on fire, instead of panicking, you should use your mind and make every effort to get out of the car. If you do not do this then you can come under the grip of carbon monoxide gas which is very dangerous.
- If there is a fire under the bonnet of your car, remember not to open it. In such a situation, oxygen is available for the fire to grow, due to which the fire increases and proves to be fatal.
- Avoid doing extra modifications to your car. Fitting extra accessories puts pressure on the car’s battery, which increases the risk of fire. Note that do not use air purifier and perfume or any flammable product in the car.
- Many people get CNG/LPG kit installed in their car from a local mechanic in order to save some money. In such a situation, these mechanics fit cheap kits or sometimes do not fit properly, due to which there is a risk of short circuit due to leakage. This risk is not there in factory fitted CNG/LPG kit.
